Peter Carroll has practised as an actuary for over 40 years and has specialised in health insurance since 1988. 

He has been responsible more than 200 major consulting assignments in Australia and internationally on a range of actuarial, strategic and communications matters for health funds, friendly societies, superannuation schemes, banks, insurance companies and governments, and he has given evidence as an expert witness to Courts, Tribunals and Government Inquiries on numerous occasions. 

Peter has managed his own consulting practice since 1994, and helped establish the health insurance consumer website Ozecover in 2008.
